A STEAM education encourages students to investigate careers as scientists, engineers, and technology professionals. Our STEAM education also includes the arts in stressing how creativity and innovation have played a role in STEAM’s typically data-based fields.
Our STEAM education combines group learning, cooperation and empathy so students learn technical and social and interpersonal skills – jobs that combine the three are the fastest growing in the world today – to become, for example, the computer scientist working in a team that is behind a technology disrupting how the world works today.
Specially trained in online instruction and “blended” learning solutions, our STEAM teachers are subject-matter experts who use our rich multi-media curriculum – online courses, lab simulations, games, tutorials, and podcasts, guest speakers in virtual classrooms, and participation in online STEAM clubs and science fairs – to convey complex concepts effectively. With regular student interaction, Positive Education training and Fortes’ performance tracking tools, our teachers have the experience to get the results.
A recent report of STEAM schools in the world found that of students surveyed:
